who wants to hang?
i have no intention of putting any makeup on or changing out of my norts and sweatshirt.
cleaning my bedroom is painful.
i’m currently laying in a pile of laundry that needs to be put away.
Mia: I just wanted to say how proud I am of you, I sort of feel like your mom reading that reflection post. You are seriously are an amazing young woman and I love you. You have such an amazing personality and a presence that shines. I just wanted to tell you how much I love you and how admirable you are. As a person also going into nursing, I hope that in the future when we cross paths, we'll both be excelling in our careers, making a difference, and running around with blasian babies. I hope that you truly enjoy your summer before college and that you make the most of your college experience like I know you will. We must hang out.
Ok well excuse my long rant and yearbook sounding post but I just felt I had to say that to you.
Mimi! You are too sweet. I wish we saw each other more often because you understand me so well. I love knowing I have your support in everything I do. You’re warm spirit and big heart will make you an awesome nurse. Expect a text soon!
reflection
not getting into the University of Washington was tough. honestly its weird because everyone said “they’d rather take the student who took honors classes and got B’s than the kid who took normal classes and got A’s.” I now know that’s obviously not true. I honestly knew I wasn’t the strongest academic candidate but I truly believed that my presidency of two clubs, 3 varsity letters, minority status and dedication/ experience in my major would make up for my lacking GPA. Its extremely heartbreaking to fail at have something you worked for 13 years. At this point I am more than over it. I couldn’t be more excited to attend Washington State University with people that I know I will be able to trust and grow with.
Have you been to Boat Street Cafe & Kitchen? Food is FANTASTIC. An info person at the SAM sculpture park suggested we go there.
I’ve never been but I’ve only heard good things about it though. I saw you were in Woodinville, its only city over from where a live. I’m happy you got to experience some of the best of Washington.
I did not! I didn't get to see everything, there is just so much to do there! Can't wait until the next time I can get back there. :)
Darn! There are so many hidden gems in Seattle that i still haven’t gotten to experience them all and I live here.

i graduate high school today.

2 projects and 1 exam stand between me and graduation. And I have no motivation to work on anything.

I saw that you had vodka gummy bears for prom... Might I recommend RUMmy bears next time, malibu works well since it's fruity... they are DELICIOUS.
